First trip to the orchard this weekend, then a lighted parade at night!
The colors are so rich this year. The trees that've changed so far are so vibrant, like patches of flames nestled in lush forest....so beautiful!

The Vietnam vets marched by, and we all stood. Garret immediately assumed this stance and held it the entire time they passed....his own little "salute," I guess. :-)

Fall was in the air, but expecting a nice little warm up back to 80s this week, so back to shorts we go! You never know what you're going to get in Wisconsin....fireplace sittin' last week, sprinkler runnin' this week! :)

Ack! The fall plaque of bugs have arrived, wasps, boxelders and asian beetles. It really feels like one of the biblical plaques has descended. Could use some frost now to kill those suckers.
loved catching up!! the orchard pics look like a lot of fun. can't believe it's that time of year again!! and I really loved the home school post-I honestly have no idea what home schooling entails, so that was a wondering glimpse. and of course I learned about the ear (and might actually remember the parts with that little contraption) this time! looks like a TON of work on your part, but it's clear that your heart is in it 100%%% thanks for the great posts!!
