Just found out my photo was chosen out of 5000+ as one of 12 runners up and will be published in Adoptive Families magazine and on their website!!! The magazine called today to interview me about the photo and to tell me the good news! I was shocked!

This is one of my favorite photos of Luca...It demonstrates her grace and incredible strength as well as her ability to look AHEAD, something she has inspired me to do so many times since her arrival 9 months ago. She is beautiful and so full of hope.

Your picture really deserves it. It is so professional looking. She has so many facets. You don't often see her so serious like this, at least not for long. It was great that you could have captured such a moment.
Oh my gosh!! congrats! that is REALLY cool and I'm so excited to see it! LOVE the picture. it is beautiful. I almost feel like someone in our family won since it is Luca!
