Summer programs are wrapping up around here, and I can't believe August is upon us already!! Brenin finished her book discussion group at the library and LOVED it, and both girls completed the summer reading program with lots of prizes from the library to reward them (free ice cream cones, pizzas, etc).
Luca had her last t-ball on Thursday, and I couldn't believe the difference those 8 weeks had made. At the first practice, she stood in the out-field and let balls breeze by her and then refused to run the bases when the coach asked them to. By the last practice, she was racing the boys for the ball (and givin' 'em the 'ol stink eye as she walked away with the ball!) and was LEADING THE PACK around the diamond! It was a lot of fun to watch her learn and progress in something so fast!
Both girls also just completed their 3 weeks of swimming lessons, Brenin in level 2 and Luca in level 1. They both PASSED with flying colors and had so much fun swimming every day for 3 weeks! We picked later lessons (6:30 p.m. so Daddy could watch too) and the hottest part of summer, so it was a refreshing treat each day!

You have been busy bees! Love that Luca gives the boys the Stink Eye!!! Both girls look like they love the pool! I can't believe that summer is over :(!
