Field Trip to Cave of the Mounds!

The whole thing looks like a scene from Star Wars...unreal!  :)

Catching "cave kisses" (drips of water).

The giant cave was discovered by miners in the 1930s, and the kids had the opportunity to do some mining of their own after the tour.

Luca's treasure, a piece of iron pyrite (also known as "fool's gold").

Hey Cari!!!! Ok playing catch up here-had to go all the way to the piano post!!! Ahh where to begin!!! I think all of the educational trips/functions you guys do is simply wonderful. It's a hoot to see the pics & read about, so I can't imagine what it's like to be there. I absolutely loved the fall pics & colors. But the black & white pic was stunning. Great lighting on that one girl!! The girls looked beautiful on Halloween!!! Where did u get those masks??

Ok I loved it all!!

Have a great weekend!!!
