Hope everyone had a happy 4th of July!

We spent the afternoon at my sister's where we celebrated Garret's 2nd birthday and then headed for fireworks (Luca's first!). She was excited to go to the fireworks, but by the time the second one went off, her butt was firmly planted on my lap and she asked me if we could go sit in the car. :-) She was afraid they were going to fall on us. It took some repeated reassuring throughout the display, but she did end up enjoying herself and commented on the pretty ones.

At the birthday party, Luca decided it was more fun to pop the water balloons on herself than to throw them at someone else.

Guess we should have packed the swimsuit!
