been dried
cracked
blistered
beyond self recall,
drained
peeled back
fallen...
...It's then
that tiny drops
of
rain
begin
to
fall,
and each one
spreads
like salve
on weary and broken,
and they begin to fill the cup which I had forgotten to fill,
shattered in the wreckage and rush
...and a little light begins to shine
strong and gentle,
searching,
and darkness fades
and healing glows warm and soft
and transformation begins
I lay paralyzed,
amazed,
Here He finds me once more
Redeemed.
"But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in Him.
He will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit."
